Amazon’s Q Developer Science team is pioneering the development of advanced large language models based agents specifically optimized for software engineering tasks. We build and deploy AI agents that seamlessly integrate into developers' workflows across multiple interfaces—from command-line tools to popular IDEs like Visual Studio Code and Amazon internal development workflows. Our research focuses on creating more reliable, efficient, and collaborative code generation systems that can understand developer intent, produce secure and correct implementations, and work effectively across complex software projects.
