AWS is looking for experienced Solutions Architects to help advise our Enterprise customers on how to best adopt and leverage the value of AWS technologies. This is an ideal role for someone with deep experience in the industry, expert knowledge of Enterprise level applications and infrastructure, and a solid understanding of how cloud services can help Enterprise customers transform their data centers, and more quickly develop innovative industry solutions.
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will serve as a core member of the Enterprise industry team, and play a key role in executing our go-to-market strategies and programs at a country or area level. You will identify Enterprise customer needs specific to your area or country; and engage directly with customers and account teams to determine business needs, and help define and develop industry solutions. You will also help coach SAs who are directly supporting Enterprise customers as part of the AWS account teams, and gather and provide feedback to engineering teams on how to help Enterprise customers more easily adopt AWS services.
The ideal candidate will have experience coaching senior engineers or solutions architects; working directly with customers; and helping to define and deploy secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions in Enterprises.
As a Principal SA, travel up to 30% could be included and will be discussed at the interview stage.
