Position: Industrial Designer III (multiple positions available)
Location: Bellevue, WA
Multiple Positions Available:
1. Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the last mile delivery station through equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
2. Work closely with a partner team in Engineering, Tech and Operations to build impactful products
3. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time.
4. Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
5. Provide technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects
6. Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to execute the vision, detailed roadmap, and specific technical solutions to make a compelling business case with senior executives.
7. Hold partner teams accountable for delivery of project roadmap. Own a part of the vision of the next generation DS roadmap, including execution. Meet defined milestones and delivery dates.
8. Drive a culture of innovation across the AMZL Strategic Planning and Process Engineering Org.
9. Domestic travel up to 20 % and international travel up to 5% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
