eero is looking for a highly proficient, hands-on WiFi Test Engineer to own our HW-SW testing efforts and keep our platform running smoothly. You will help the existing WiFi test team build test beds, test cases, design networks to better our customer experience, validate vendor code drops along with eero SW solutions, and ensure that end users have a great connectivity experience. You'll work closely with development teams, to help discover and debug issues.
Key job responsibilities
As part of eero’s mission to reinvent WiFi, you’ll be making a difference in the fabric of the modern home.
- Develop test plans for eero's whole home WiFi products
- Define, implement WiFi test cases and support automation
- Design network for wireless, network systems
- Develop ad hoc tests to support engineering debug
- Drive decisions about testing improvements
- Execute WiFi performance characterization tests
- Report test results and plan status
- Create/maintain performance and interop nightly regression test suites and testbeds
- Create test suites in our automation framework towards WiFi Performance coverage
- Work with WiFi dev/HW/CX teams to reproduce/triage/debug customer issues
- Write detailed bug reports for engineering team
- Support distributed development and WiFi testing teams
