Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
In this role, work with a team of engineers responsible for designing standardized test equipment used on the shop floor that can be built at scale as per the factory demands for contract manufacturing as well as Kuiper factory locations, optimizing provisioning and testing time by partnering with design engineering and software teams, partner with CM site representatives and provide recommendation for design for manufacturing. In this role you will work across the org with many software and hardware teams identifying requirements, prioritizing critical efforts and providing updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain test fixtures to verify software on embedded hardware, create and maintain documentation
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues
- Integration and test plans development closely working with systems engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering and RF integration teams
- Contribute to engineering efforts from design to implementation, solving complex technical challenges around production productivity and velocity
- Drive adoption of best practices in test hardware and software maintainability
- Contribute to standardization and process improvement activities.
