One Community team as a full-time
Event Coordinator. In this vital role, you’ll help create inclusive, community-centered events that promote access, awareness, and connection across the Trillium catchment area. If you're organized, relationship-driven, and committed to making a real impact, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
The
One Community Event Coordinator plays a key role in planning, organizing, and executing both independently managed and team-led events across the Southern Trillium counties. You'll work closely with Regional Managers and the Program Director to coordinate logistics, manage vendor and partner communications, and ensure every event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression.
Duties Include (but Are Not Limited To)
- Independently managing assigned events, from planning through execution
- Supporting large-scale, team-led events with logistics, setup, and guest experience
- Coordinating with service providers and community partners to maximize engagement
- Providing front-of-house support during events to ensure a welcoming environment
- Serving as the lead event contact when the Regional Manager is unavailable
Note: The successful candidate must live in one of the following counties Craven, Jones, Carteret, Sampson, Duplin, Onslow, Pender, New Hanover, Brunswick, Columbus, Bladen, Robeson, Hoke, or Scotland. Also,
must be willing to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.

What We’re Looking For
To succeed as the
Event Coordinator, you should bring energy, attention to detail, and a passion for community impact. We’re seeking someone who can juggle multiple projects, build strong relationships, and create welcoming, inclusive environments.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one (1) year related knowledge, experience, and skills in the hospitality industry, preferably as a meeting planner or event coordinator.
- Valid NC driver’s license and auto insurance for travel to event sites
