This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our Customers succeed.
The AWS Experience-Based Acceleration (EBA) Team developed a repeatable methodology to drive large-scale Customer transformations and accelerate the business benefits of their adoption of AWS. Our Customers leverage EBAs as the tip of the spear to change the way they work and help accelerate their Cloud adoption where traditional methodologies fall short. Hundreds of enterprises at various levels of Cloud maturity have harnessed EBA to build Cloud foundations, migrate at scale, modernize their businesses, and innovate for their customers. EBA is ranked as one of the top mechanisms for Cloud value realization and Customer business transformation.
The Sr. Specialist is at the center of scaling the EBA methodology with thought leadership ensuring AWS Customers follow a prescriptive scalable framework while ensuring a high bar on outcomes. The Sr. Specialist brings a deep expertise in AWS technologies, as well as broad know-how around Customers' migration, modernization, GenAI business outcomes using the AWS platform. Ideal candidate has in-depth expertise in Cloud Computing to drive large-scale strategic initiatives, and is measured in the Customer adoption of AWS services via EBAs. Owning the EBA value proposition and internal/external messaging, driving Customer success stories, field enablement motions, and delivering projects with global stakeholders will be a part of this role. Coaching Customers, Partners, AWS leaders, Field teams, this role will have cross-AWS visibility by driving alignment for Cloud acceleration, including driving key scaling mechanisms with the AWS stakeholders.
The successful candidate must be comfortable individually driving cross-team efforts with a collective mission, defining well-considered objectives and metrics to guide decision-making and drive change. Leading by example, when engaging diverse technical and business leaders at all levels, the candidate leverages strong verbal and written skills and exceptional business judgment. The Customer Obsessed Sr. Specialist is expected to coach others on orchestration of successful EBAs in complex Customer landscape. They unlock limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons behind strategic decision processes. They own initiatives to scale EBA with clear objectives, measurable success criteria, and clearly communicate progress and outcomes.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and deploy scalable initiatives for EBA adoption by driving strategic motions with the global stakeholders to unlock Cloud value realization for AWS Customers.
- Spearhead projects with stakeholders (internal and external) to build repeatable mechanisms for driving efficiency across Customer engagements.
- Produce and share program updates and relevant metrics and with global leaders and stakeholders across geographies.
- Align key stakeholders on EBA offerings, framework, assets, outcomes, and objectives – including evangelism and enablement efforts.
- Become a liaison between the cross-functional stakeholders and geo leaders to drive initiatives by gathering ongoing requirements from the field.
- Develop best practices and field guidance to help Customers achieve faster AWS adoption across – Migration, Modernization, and Innovation (GenAI/ML).
- Gather requirements to lead key projects, and coordinate execution across multiple global teams.
- Drive EBA messaging and marketing efforts, including Customer success stories and marketing collateral development.
- Identify and produce appropriate business metrics and continually assess them to improve over time.
- Concisely represent EBA to AWS business leaders and technical teams at all levels.
- Prepare and present detailed, written technical information for internal and external audiences.
- Demonstrate exceptional judgment, integrity, business acumen, and communication skills.
