What you get to do:
As the Security Manager, you'll lead and oversee all aspects of the park’s security operations—ensuring the safety of employees, guests, and assets. The role is both strategic and operational, requiring leadership of security personnel and direct involvement in emergencies, investigations, and court proceedings.
- Leadership & Operation:
- Recruit, train, and manage performance of the team.
- Supervise security officers, off-duty law enforcement, and event staff.
- Ensure staff maintain required certifications/licenses.
- Ensure proper staffing levels based on park operation
- Policy & Compliance:
- Develop and implement security policies and emergency response procedures.
- Conduct investigations and handle security breaches.
- Oversee compliance with relevant laws and company standards.
- Conduct and participate in security audits
- Incident & Risk Management:
- Respond to emergencies (medical, bomb threats, alarms, etc.).
- Mitigate risk and develop incident response plans.
- Prepare legal cases and represent the park in court when needed.
- Liaison Duties:
- Build strong relationships with local law enforcement and regulatory agencies.
- Communicate security matters internally and externally in a professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
- Three or more years of supervisory/management experience within a theme park, entertainment, hospitality, or other guest services related industry.
- Previous military, law enforcement or security experience preferred.
- Experience in loss prevention and investigative procedures.
- Related Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Obtain or current hold PA ACT 235 card
- Current or willing to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certified.
- State license(s) and applicable certification(s).
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal laws desired.
