Amazon seeks a customer-obsessed senior leader to own and nurture our relationships with Industrial Innovation Fund (IIF) portfolio companies and create lasting value for Amazon Operations. This leader will earn trust with our IIF portfolio company CEOs and their leadership teams by overcoming internal barriers to commercial adoption, leading follow-on IIF venture investments, and advising these CEO’s as their companies mature. Day-to-day, this individual will identify and lead complex, first-of-a-kind commercial negotiations that have broad implications to multiple Amazon business units and require a strong centralized advocate. This individual will have no formal authority but be expected to proactively engage and lead diverse teams across multiple Amazon business units, geographies, operational domains (robotics, first mile, middle mile, last mile), and timelines. Successful candidates will have extensive knowledge of investing and be familiar with the practice of venture capital, and be proven startup founders and corporate operators.

• Support the financial needs of the portfolio companies through follow-on venture investments and ongoing investor relations responsibilities.
