Hiring Event for Patient Care Technicians at Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital
When: Thursday, November 13, 2025 / 2:00-5:00pm
Location: 1000 North Westmoreland Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045 - Main Entrance parking (free) and entry

As we complete a 290,000-square-foot expansion of Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital, we're looking for compassionate professionals who want to be part of something better. We have opportunities for IL Certified Nursing Assistants and those currently in a Registered Nurse program with at least one completed clinical rotation. Opportunities are available in various departments, including:
- Inpatient–Cardiac Neuro, Med Surg, Observation, General Medicine
- Inpatient Ortho Neuro
- Inpatient Medical Oncology / Medical Pediatrics
- IMCU Cardiovascular Step-Down
Full- and part-time positions are available on Days and Nights. Additional units may have opportunities for experienced CNA's.

Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant active on the IDPH Registry, completion of a CNA program with certification in progress, or RN nursing school students with at least one clinical rotation completed
- CPR through AHA – Basic Life Support
- Physical Demands Requirement:
- Physical demands required for this role include lift/carry up to 50 pounds and a push/pull force up to 50 pounds
Preferred:
- Phlebotomy experience
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or Graduate of Phlebotomy course
