You will be responsible for maximizing value, retention and growth throughout the customer lifecycle. You will help build and develop customers' performance and security strategies. Becoming an industry expert, delivering innovative outcomes for customers through relationships, business acumen, and operational focus.
As a Sr. Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Working independently as a trusted advisor for customer stakeholders to support their long-term strategy and visions
- Owning the technical program management while maximizing Akamai's platform value for the customer
- Being the central point of contact for customers and leading the integrated account team delivering customer success
- Educating customers on and empowering their adoption of Akamai's products and services to support account growth
- Responding to escalations when various program management issues arise and leading operational improvements to mitigate future risks
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- Demonstrate an understanding of the consulting process and building relationships to ensure customer success
- Show experience of managing and delivering large technical customer projects successfully
- Be knowledgeable on Devops, web development, web performance and information security technologies such as HTTPS, DNS
- Have experience with internet technologies and processes related to application architectures and information security including cloud/hybrid/SaaS environments
- Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
