Gale Associates, Inc. is seeking a Structural Project Manager to join our Rockland, MA office to work with a dynamic team of designers on projects involving new and existing buildings. Position Responsibilities:
- The selected candidate will serve as Project Manager on a variety of projects involving the evaluation and rehabilitation of existing structures and facades. Responsibilities also include design of structural augmentation of existing structures and superstructure/foundation systems for new structures.
- Preparation of drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and correspondence as well as performing construction observations and meeting with clients.
- Mentoring is an important responsibility of our Project Managers and is critical to the success of our structural team.
- Responsible for the technical and financial performance of projects.
- Assist with writing proposals and business development efforts.
- Ability to present and represent Gale at Client meetings and obligations
- Position requires both office and field work – primarily in the greater Boston and New England area.
Requirements:
- A B.S. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 10+ years of experience. At least 3 years of proven project management experience.
- E. or S.E. Registration.
- Knowledge of concrete, masonry restoration, steel design, timber design, waterproofing, and building envelope assemblies.
- Proficiency using structural analysis software.
- Solid communication/presentation/writing skills.
- Ability to lead design teams and mentor junior staff.

Salary range: $115,600-$147,300 annually
