The Intake/Insurance/TMS Registered Nurse - Outpatient Behavioral Health reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Intake/Insurance/TMS Nurse responds to inquiries regarding available services, completes nursing assessments for intakes and new admissions, conducts ongoing utilization review activities, and performs follow-up, case appeal and ADR activities as necessary. The Intake/Insurance/TMS Nurse provides coordination, scheduling and clinical services for the TMS Program. TMS duties are to administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation sessions to identified patients, monitor patients for safety, demonstrate strong communication skills in order to communicate any concerns to treating psychiatrists, and to ensure patients are responding effectively to treatment. The Intake/Insurance/TMS Nurse will demonstrate independent thought, and be able to collaborate with multiple departments and staff of various professional and clinical backgrounds.

Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing with current licensure in the State of Illinois. Three to five years psychiatric nursing experience required.
Psychiatric nursing experience is required. Familiarity with TMS, prior authorizations and intake processes is preferred.
