Job Description
Northwestern Medical Group (NMG) and Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute (BCVI) are seeking a full-time, vascular surgeon. Primary responsibilities include providing the full breadth of vascular surgery services in Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital. This position will be expected to provide comprehensive vascular care in the region and manage the non-invasive vascular laboratory. Expectations include service call, rounding and caring for pre-op and post-op patients in concert with the clinical team, and responding to local consultation requests and referrals. Preferred candidates will play a vital role in the growth and coordination of care and other distinctive programming throughout the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute.
- This position will include an appointment as a Health System Clinician as an employed physician with the Northwestern Medical Group.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a strong background in clinical vascular surgery, have completed an ACGME accredited vascular surgery fellowship/residency program, and are board certified/eligible in vascular surgery. Vascular surgeons in this position may participate in academic programs of the Feinberg School of Medicine, including educational programs (e.g., teaching service, training, preceptorship, mentoring, etc.) or research programs (e.g., participation in clinical trials, referring patients for clinical trials, etc.). Salary is commensurate with experience.
