Job Description
This position is part-time 40 hours in a 2-week pay period. 2x- 8-hours shifts one week, 3x - 8-hours shfits the second week. Hours are: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Weekend coverage every 3 weeks.

Responsibilities:
- Schedules patient visits.
- Develops staffing schedules, triage and on-call schedules.
- Interacts with patients, their representatives, physicians, physician office staff, departmental staff, to gather and ensure accuracy of demographic, billing and clinical information.
- Develops and distributes required forms, documents and reports with accurate patient information.
- Enters all data related to scheduling needs.
- Maintains exemplary level of customer service.
- Reviews new and previously recorded information with patient, physician and others to ensure accurate collection and analysis of information.
- Communicates instructions and arrival times to patient for each visits.
- Accepts and Directs patients calls to appropriate staff or charge nurse.
- Communicates schedule changes to appropriate staff and or patients.
- Works with charge nurses and managers to maintain schedules
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience in a customer service role.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous experience with an electronic medical records system.
