Job Description
Under the direction of a Radiologist and DI Director/Manager, administer ionizing radiation to patients producing diagnostic radiographic procedures at a technical level requiring no constant supervision of technical details. Performs a variety of procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative. Adheres to the ARRT/ASRT Code of Ethics.
Qualifications
Education (level of education; specific degrees) A graduate of an ARRT accredited program 40 hours of initial Mammography training along with 25 supervised mammograms Associate Degree of Applied Science in Radiology Experience (minimum amount of years; type/field)2 years of Mammography experience Credentials Legal Compliance (licenses & certifications) A.R.R.T. Registration with advance certification in Mammography IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety license
