We're reinventing how to attract and hire quality talent at scale — come join us.
We're seeking a Manager, Marketing Activation & Campaign Planning to lead the strategy, people, and performance behind two of the AIM organization's most critical marketing functions: activation management and integrated campaign planning across the Americas. This role is the single-threaded owner for how marketing support is prioritized, how campaigns are built and measured, and how the team scales its impact through automation, data-driven decisioning, and cross-functional orchestration. You directly manage a team of Marketing Activation Specialists and Campaign Planning, and you serve as the accountable owner for onboarding new internal clients in the Americas into the standard activation management process.
You lead the team that helps thousands of people get a job every year.
As a people leader and marketing strategist, you set the vision for how activation logic, campaign planning, override management, and performance optimization work together to drive fill rate outcomes at scale across US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and beyond. You force multiply through your team — coaching specialists and planners to operate independently, building mechanisms that reduce manual effort, and driving toward automated decisioning. You translate complex marketing performance data into executive-level strategy, owning the WBR narrative for senior leadership and influencing investment priorities across the AIM organization.
You shape organizational strategy and develop the next generation of marketing talent.
Your insights don't just inform decisions — they define them. You influence partner team roadmaps, align business managers and global risk teams on fill risk strategy, and represent both the activation and campaign planning functions in cross-functional planning. You identify gaps between teams and processes, hold partner teams accountable for improvements, and build scalable mechanisms that outlast your direct involvement. You actively develop your direct reports, providing coaching, feedback, and stretch opportunities that build toward their next level.
Key job responsibilities
Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, coach, and develop a team spanning Marketing Activation Specialists and Campaign Planning, setting clear performance expectations, providing regular feedback, and building individual development plans aligned to each person's next level. Drive promotion readiness and succession planning within the team. Actively participate in recruiting and hiring to raise the bar across both functions.
Activation Strategy & Risk Management: Own the strategic framework for weekly marketing activation logic across Americas fulfillment sites, including application need and paid application need assessments. Define the override governance model, ensuring decisions are logged and structured to accelerate automation development. Set the standard for how risk is identified, escalated, and resolved across the portfolio.
Internal Client Onboarding — Americas: Own the end-to-end onboarding of new internal clients in the Americas into the standard activation management process. Define and maintain the onboarding playbook, establish intake requirements, coordinate cross-functional readiness, and ensure new clients are fully integrated into activation logic, reporting, and stakeholder communication cadences.
Integrated Campaign Planning & Execution: Own annual integrated campaign plans for the Americas, with focus on building and testing during low-volume periods and maintaining readiness for high-volume hiring events (Peak, Prime, Hot Sale). Lead working-backwards planning from hiring projections, site capacity, and historical performance data. Consult senior leadership on quarterly strategy, budget allocation, and major campaign pivots. Translate rolling 12-week labor order visibility into dynamic marketing adjustments, flagging risks and mitigation plans early.
Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead campaign management across the Americas, driving true collaboration with Creative, Performance Marketing, Journey Orchestration, Talent Engagement, and Business stakeholders. Facilitate quarterly planning cycles, manage stakeholder expectations across business partners, country leads, and global teams, and bridge the gap between marketing capabilities and operational hiring realities. Lead integrated campaign reviews with senior leadership, presenting data-backed recommendations.
Performance Optimization & Marketing Strategy: Define the strategy for channel mix, spend efficiency, fill rate improvement, and labor order projection accuracy across the Americas portfolio. Partner with analytics teams to move beyond single-metric measurement to comprehensive campaign performance frameworks. Identify systemic opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and hold partner teams accountable for execution.
Pacing & Spend Governance: Oversee daily pacing management across the team, ensuring ramp-down and pause decisions are executed with precision and that insights are fed back into program management to improve paid marketing efficiency. Own the governance framework for spend decisions and escalation thresholds.
Automation & Process Improvement: Identify, develop, and drive adoption of mechanisms that improve activation efficiency, reduce manual override volume, and accelerate the path to automated decisioning. Own the automation of campaign planning processes — from discovery through recommendation to implementation. Eliminate redundant workflows and hold partner teams accountable for process improvements across both functions.
Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Influence: Own the weekly WBR deep dive for senior leadership, translating activation performance, campaign results, and fill risk into clear, strategic narratives. Maintain alignment with business managers, global risk teams, and cross-functional partners. Influence investment priorities and partner team roadmaps through data-driven business cases.
A day in the life
Your day begins with a team check-in on overnight performance data — you're not pulling the data yourself, you're coaching your team on what to look for and how to escalate. You review the weekly activation logic your team has produced, providing strategic guidance on override decisions and ensuring the log is structured to support automation development. Mid-morning, you're in a cross-functional meeting with Performance Marketing and Journey Orchestration, influencing channel investment decisions with data from the prior week's WBR. You spend time with a Senior Campaign Planner working through a quarterly testing plan — coaching them to think through risk signals and mitigation strategies. In the afternoon, you're reviewing the onboarding plan for a new internal client coming onto the activation process, ensuring intake requirements are met and the timeline is on track. You close the day reviewing the WBR narrative your team has drafted for senior leadership, sharpening the strategic framing and ensuring campaign performance is connected to hiring outcomes before it goes to Directors.
