Position Responsibilities:
Lead multiple functions across Sales Operations with a focus on AWS strategic customers’ private pricing billing processes and systems, serving as a strategic partner to sales leaders by designing scalable “incubate to automate” processes and implementing go-to-market strategies. Utilize expertise in AWS private pricing structures, discount models, contract types, and billing logic to manage complex escalations, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with financial reporting. Lead mission-critical cross-team projects, collaborate with engineering on automation initiatives, and drive the evolution of operational tools and applications. Responsibilities include extracting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets from Excel, CLM, and BI tools; building automated dashboards and reports in Excel, Power Query, and BI platforms to monitor KPIs; and applying SQL, Python, and Excel VBA to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort. Perform root cause analysis on billing and contract data, translate Private Pricing Contracts into structured requirements for billing systems, develop automation workflows to ensure accuracy and compliance, and apply statistical and trend analysis to forecast deal cycles and revenue impact. Communicate with business and technical stakeholders at all levels, deliver actionable insights through data modeling and forecasting, and balance competing priorities with autonomy and strategic thinking. Define and implement operational policies for territory planning, quota setting, and revenue management, partners with Sales, Legal, and Pricing to deliver data-driven insights, and support leadership through ad-hoc analytics, scenario modeling, executive reporting, and team development while continuously improving systems and enhancing customer experience.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and three years of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, with experience in BI tools such as Power BI, or AWS QuickSight; (2) ability to identify gaps, streamline processes, and implement automation to improve operational efficiency; (3) communicating and partnering with Sales, Legal, Pricing, and Business Practices teams; and (4) working with automation frameworks and ensuring compliance within operational processes and reporting systems.
