The Deployment Planning & Materials Manager owns integrated planning for deployment programs, ensuring labor, materials, logistics, and installation schedules are coordinated to enable safe, efficient, and predictable execution. This role develops and maintains end-to-end execution plans that align workforce availability, material readiness, vendor deliveries, and site constraints to meet project milestones. The position will drive improvements through data analytics, automation, and emerging AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting accuracy, schedule reliability, and deployment scalability.
Key job responsibilities
• Own the development and management of integrated deployment schedules aligning labor availability, material readiness, vendor deliverables, logistics timelines, and site readiness to ensure on-time execution.
• Develop workforce and labor forecasts based on project scope, installation sequencing, and productivity assumptions to ensure proper resourcing across deployments.
• Build and maintain execution plans that coordinate engineering deliverables, procurement timelines, logistics planning, and field installation activities.
• Develop material demand forecasts and maintain visibility to inventory levels, material movement, and staging requirements to prevent shortages or delays.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Logistics teams to align vendor lead times, transportation plans, and delivery schedules with project milestones.
• Identify schedule risks related to labor constraints, material availability, vendor performance, or site readiness and implement mitigation strategies.
• Utilize data analytics, digital planning platforms, and AI-enabled forecasting tools to improve planning accuracy, material readiness, and schedule reliability.
• Maintain planning dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into schedule health, labor forecasts, and material status.
• Lead post-deployment reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in planning processes and deployment execution.
