We are looking for a Business Operations Manager to join our team. The Academic Research Initiatives and Science Community team (ARI-SciCom) strategically aligns external academic research partnerships and internal scientific capabilities. Our team supports innovation by funding potential breakthrough academic research, building tools that empower our scientists, and fostering internal scientific excellence to accelerate long-term customer impact. We believe that external research only generates value when it flows back into the organization, and internal science only reaches its potential when connected to the frontier of academic discovery.
In this role, you will drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements, managing cross-functional programs, and delivering data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions for Amazon’s vast scientific investment and community portfolio. You will work closely with leadership and partner teams to scale mechanisms, remove bottlenecks, and ensure the business runs efficiently.
