Amazon is seeking exceptional talent to help develop the next generation of advanced robotics systems that will transform automation at Amazon's scale. Our teams are developing revolutionary solutions that integrate cutting-edge AI, sophisticated control systems, and advanced mechanical design — creating adaptable automation capable of working safely alongside humans in dynamic environments. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of robotics at unprecedented scale, collaborating with world-class engineers pushing the boundaries of robotic manipulation, locomotion, and human-robot interaction.
Robotics Trade & Supply Chain Compliance (RTSCC) is looking for a trade compliance professional with strong operational leadership capabilities to take full ownership of import/export compliance for industrial robotics. In this role, you will design, implement, and monitor trade compliance processes — balancing regulatory rigor with the speed and scale our business demands.
You will drive strategic alignment by providing both near- and long-term considerations and their business impacts, clearly recommending trade-offs and priorities. When confronted with competing viewpoints, you will chart the best path forward and build consensus across stakeholders. Your decisions will balance risk mitigation with customer experience. You will pressure-test assumptions by engaging the right cross-functional partners and reviewing relevant metrics and benchmarks.

- Drive compliance program integration with IRG business teams and supply chain
- Interface with cross-functional teams including Legal, Tax, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering
- Build and deliver training programs to enable business teams on trade compliance requirements
- Educate leadership on the appropriate execution of compliance requirements
A day in the life

You'll engage with regional compliance teams and business stakeholders to document requirements and iterate on processes as business needs evolve. This role requires collaboration across multiple functions to identify and resolve information or process gaps during the import process.
