The ideal candidate is a builder who can architect, develop, test, and validate accelerators including reusable frameworks, reference architectures, and proof-of-concept solutions that drive measurable customer outcomes. This role demands someone who builds with depth: writing code, deploying infrastructure, and iterating on real-world implementations. Equally important, this person must confidently lead strategic conversations on data strategy, semantic modeling, and analytics with senior leadership, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value and actionable roadmaps.
Data Lake and Analytics Principal SAs are technical leaders and strategic influencers for their customers and their organization who combine business acumen with technical skills to drive Domain, data, and AI conversation and work with HCLS customers to architect solutions to significantly complex problems. They work in environments of high ambiguity, where business objectives and opportunities are not defined. They are trusted advisors to their customers’ senior leadership and are adept at building consensus and alignment across many customer teams. They lead data and analytics related technical solutions discussions for HCLS and can dive deeply into technical details but also operate more broadly. Solutions they deliver become reference designs or reusable artifacts for others to leverage with other customers. They are thought leaders who leverage their experience, expertise, and lessons learned to educate and share best practices with customers by leading and owning the development, delivery, review, and maintenance of technical content. They proactively identify gaps in our products and services as well as anticipate future customer needs and lead effective customer feedback gathering. They are active members of the Solutions Architect community, creating connections across SA organizations, improving awareness of common problems, fostering collective understanding of best practices, and sharing learnings on new technology and trends.
