For this role, you will:
- Take responsibility for designing and delivering a modern, flexible, scalable, high throughput, low latency network architecture
- Implement workflows to orchestrate on orbit payload activities
- Implement highly-available software that will drive networking control plane operation on physical and virtual nodes
- Define and automate processes used for software development, implementation, testing, and maintenance
- Provide operational excellence for control plane services, to including enabling toolsand definition/refinement of operational processes
- Diagnose routing and forwarding issues across the control plane, data plane, and physical topology.
- Integrate telemetry, topology, link-state, and network-condition data into route computation and control systems.
- Develop routing behavior for topology transitions, link changes, node movement, degraded links, and failures.

We interact with the satellite ground control services, the customer engagement systems and monitoring services to constantly fine-tune our network and deliver a high quality service to our customers. You will be responsible to build the best network for our customers.

The Software Defined Network (SDN) Controller team is building the brain that drives the LEO Network. Our mission is clear: we own network planning for the entire LEO ecosystem. Every plan that coordinates Customer Terminals, Satellites, Gateways, and the rest of the network flows through our team. And the scale is significant — we generate plans for millions of Customer Terminals and deliver them reliably and on time.
