Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join a high growth Advertising business. As an SFA, you will work with a cross-functional team within ads and interact with multiple teams across Amazon giving you a broad view of the business. As a key finance partner, you are a strategic thinker who can connect the dots and look around corners for our business partners. This role will own core reporting mechanisms (xBRs) and initiatives for brand ad innovation.
The successful candidate will have strong judgment knowing when to dive deeper versus moving ahead. They will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and challenging business partners when appropriate. This role has regular interaction with executives from various business units across Amazon and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
This position can sit in Seattle, WA, or New York City, NY.

-Develop business case models for strategic initiatives
-Use data and analysis for decision support
-Partner with business team to develop and monitor input metrics for key programs
-Develop process and reports to enhance finance controllership
-Leverage AI to increase automation of recurring mechanisms

The Stores Monetization team is focused on enabling performance and brand-building solutions for advertisers. Our stakeholders include our business partners as well as our publisher partners (e.g. Stores Homepage team). As finance partners, we have a seat at the table using data and analysis to drive business and roadmap priorities.
