Position Title: Risk Manager III
Location: Austin, Texas
Position Responsibilities:
Assist in risk assessments, develop audit strategies, and establish relationships with leaders across Amazon businesses, finance, and legal. Lead the planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of audits based on identified compliance risks impacting various Amazon businesses. Dig deep into the details of audit work. Identify the full range of risks related to processes, regulatory compliance, and organization. Prepare reports and make presentations to senior level management to improve controls with the objective of mitigating compliance risks. Interact with various levels of employees to collect and communicate information.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and six years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation in internal auditing, compliance audits, accounting, or risk management. Must have three years of experience in the following skills: 1) audit and risk management skills including: planning and performing audits, assessing business processes and controls, and identifying and communicating audit findings to management; 2) experience identifying, measuring, and prioritizing associated risks within a broad organization; 3) experience with ambiguous environments and complex IT architecture; and 4) performing data analysis. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.
