The Last Mile Technology team supports multiple businesses globally creating the technology that supports deliveries for businesses such as Prime Now, Amazon Flex, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Logistics, Lockers, and other current and new initiatives.

In this role, you will have an opportunity to own design and development for various services, working closely with research science and other partner teams to apply optimization and machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems.
As a technical leader, you will have influence over the long term strategic needs of the team, the short term tactical wins, and the tradeoffs between them. You will guide other team members to create robust, scalable designs, own development of critical path code, and lead processes that improve quality and reduce operational load on the team. As a person with a high technical bar, you will participate in people development and hiring, ensuring we're hiring the right type of people for the team's long term needs.
