As the Senior Strategy Manager for the Quality Technology Services (QTS) organization, you will play a role in shaping the strategic direction and priorities of a critical technology group within Amazon. The QTS organization is responsible for delivering Robotics Trade Strategy for international supply chain compliance, Core IT solutions for Amazon Robotics, and custom productivity and business software solutions for key teams across the company.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience in strategy, business analysis, or a related field, ideally within a technology or supply chain environment.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering impactful strategic plans and organizational roadmaps.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships, earn trust and present complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Experience in agile project management and navigating matrixed organizational structures.
Key job responsibilities
In this high-impact role, you will:
- Lead the development of the QTS 3-year strategic plan, annual organizational plans, and monthly business reviews to track progress against goals. This will involve researching, analyzing, and synthesizing complex information to craft compelling strategy documents.
- Demonstrate strong strategic thinking skills to identify organizational challenges, evaluate options, and recommend effective solutions that align with the broader business objectives.
- Manage the off-cycle change request process, evaluating and onboarding new initiatives to the QTS team.
- Serve as a strategic partner, collaborating with the Global Robotics Delivery (GRD) Strategy group and other key stakeholders to align QTS priorities with broader organizational objectives.
- Provide critical insights, analysis, and content to support the strategic decision-making of senior leaders.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and communication to ensure the successful delivery of QTS responsibilities.
