Seeking a talented Social Media Content Producer (SMCP) to join the Prime Video Sports social media team. The Sports Social Media team at Prime Video is responsible for producing engaging social media content and growing active social media audiences at scale, while also building and executing go-to-market promotional campaigns for our growing portfolio of live sports properties, including Thursday Night Football, NBA, NASCAR, NWSL, WNBA, and much more. This role will support the Head of Social & Content, serving as the direct second to the on-site content travel team. This roll will strategically plan on-site content production at various Prime Video Sports broadcasts in concert with agency and league partners as well as internal partners such as Live Production Operations, Talent team, PR, Sales, and more. They will work collaboratively to create content across all verticals and for all platforms, while working directly with the account and agency leads for publication and performance analysis. They will oversee any content production teams or shooters that support on-site capture. This role is expected to have significant social content production experience working with high level broadcast talent, and must be comfortable traveling frequently to oversee capture and production on-site at live sporting events, content shoots and more.
Key job responsibilities
• Oversee, contribute to, and execute social content production at live Prime Video Sports broadcasts.
• Advise social leadership on go-to-market planning for upcoming on-site events, including resourcing requirements, creative ideation, and work back plans
• Pitch, develop, and plan breakthrough social creative that drives high engagement via on-site capture before, during or after our live events.
• Utilize strong sports editorial judgement to recognize and curate socially-relevant moments during both our live broadcasts and around the sports landscape, and capitalizing on those moments via on-site content production opportunities and synergy across the sports and Prime Video portfolio
• Communicate clearly and effectively with agency, League and internal partners
• Collaborate with the Prime Video brand social team and other cross-functional teams to make the biggest impact
• Utilize insights and reporting to recommend changes to content and strategic approach.
• Build relationships and become a trusted partner with the external leagues/organizations we work with.
• Contribute to the maintenance of the team’s CMS.
• Assist the needs of the team and broader sports portfolio as seasonality allows.
