AWS is looking for a Data Linguist to help with annotations and data analysis. As part of the Data Team at AWS you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training data to ensure the best performance of the AWS machine learning systems. Our goal is to produce the highest quality training data in the industry and to delight our customers by improving human language understanding and natural language processing.
Fluency or native proficiency in one of the languages is required: German, Japanese, French, Spanish, or Brazilian Portuguese.
Key job responsibilities
Annotate, generate, and ensure quality assurance of data, identifying linguistic categories through detailed annotation while strictly adhering to guidelines.
Work closely with ML Data Linguists to resolve data ambiguities and annotation inconsistencies.
Conduct in-depth qualitative error trend analysis, developing action plans to enhance data quality.
Collaborate with ML Data Linguists, scientists, and Ops Managers to drive innovation in processes, tracker automation, and workflows.
Facilitate vendor communication, providing detailed feedback to annotators for continuous improvement.
