We are looking for detail-oriented, organized, and responsible individuals who are eager to solve estimation problems in non-standard use cases. Candidates must be comfortable working with complicated data sets. Moreover, a successful intern will be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to skillfully identify and build an appropriate estimation solution for non-textbook experimentation environments. A successful candidate will be able to articulate their ideas and be able to support them with evidence. If you enjoy solving complex puzzles without obvious solutions, then you will enjoy working with our team. Third year PhD level knowledge of econometrics, as well as, basic familiarity with Python is necessary.
These are full-time positions at 40 hours per week, with compensation being awarded on an hourly basis. You will learn how to build data sets and perform applied econometric analysis at Internet speed collaborating with economists, scientists, and product managers. These skills will translate well into writing applied chapters in your dissertation and provide you with work experience that may help you with placement.
