The Selling Partner Services Agent Development organization owns training, development and quality auditing, tasked with understanding the needs to hire and develop Global Seller Support Associates and Customer Trust Investigators to support our Sellers, Vendors, and Buyers in our Amazon.com marketplace. The AD Optimization and Measurement (ADOM) team strives to ensure agents' capability to deliver the best outcomes for Amazon Sellers and Buyers by measuring and optimizing learning efficacy throughout their continuous development journey. We are a team of Researchers, Analysts, and Engineers who source and organize the right data to empower our learning experience designers and training partners to effectively measure and optimize the learner journey.
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to lead our team of Business Analysts. You'll work directly with our external and internal customers to understand what our selling partners need from support and investigators, what our internal partners need to develop effective learner tools, and how our team's data needs can be best met in a secure, reliable and scalable manner. You'll partner with our research science, insights, data, and business intelligence engineers to develop and own high quality analytical solutions. The ideal candidate will be a player/coach, willing to dive in on the toughest problems and work diligently to develop our team members in analytical best practices.
Key job responsibilities
- Hire and develop a team of globally distributed business analysts
- Identify opportunities and key criteria to drive analytical reporting, models and business strategy
- Producing written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders that will help shape effective metric development and reporting.
- Simplifying and automating reporting, audits, and other data-driven activities; build solutions to have maximum scale and self-service ability by stakeholders.
- Improving back-end data sources for increased accuracy and simplicity.
- Recognizing and adopting best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
- Understanding a broad range of Amazon’s data resources and know how, when, and which to use and which not to use.
- Think outside the box in defining metrics for success for ambiguous problems in the SP Support, Customer Trust, and Quality verticals.
