About the team
The Network Performance Monitoring (NPM) team is responsible for the services that monitor the health of Amazon’s traffic to and from the the Internet and within Amazon's internal network. NPM is a fully-managed network performance monitoring service that provides near real-time visibility of network performance, enabling customers to rapidly detect and attribute network driven impairments to their AWS workloads. We provide the foundations for network health, observability and triangulation for AWS customer resources. Our biggest value proposition is to look at a variety of input data sources and come up with a network health indicator indicating the source of the impairment, associated visualizations, alarms, and fault isolation.
