We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, creative, Principal Tech Business Development manager to help us build a network of experts who can help AI evolve on a wide array of topics, everything ranging from software engineering to creative writing. The role will require the facilitation of new partnerships across academia and industry, as well as helping to influence the invention of new approaches to identify and manage contributors. This is an opportunity to drive an exciting new business, move fast, grow quickly, and work on the evolution of AI.
The right person will manage the new business from end-to-end, including understanding market dynamics, evaluating new partnership opportunities, conducting partner outreach, negotiating term sheets and agreements and driving to execution. You are a role model for best practices for incubating new partnerships, diving deep into partners’ expertise, and improving partner performance. Your success will require close collaboration with internal cross-functional teams including Product and Tech on new product innovation designed to help experts unlock higher quality contributions. You demonstrate the ability to think strategically about issues, identify trends and effectively influence internal stakeholders such as Finance and Legal by earning trust and being right a lot.
The right candidate will be a strategic and results-driven business development leader with a proven track record developing complex partnerships. You possess exceptional relationship-building skills, program management skills, and a willingness to try new ideas quickly.
