The Voice for FireTV team enables and brings delightful Voice experiences to millions of customers around the world. Emerging technologies like AI/ML/LLM are playing a key role in improving the FireTV voice experience worldwide. To accomplish this, we partner with platform and services teams across FireTV as well as several teams across the Alexa organization. Here you will drive key engineering features that impact Amazon's long-term vision on bringing the connected Alexa experience in the living room, supporting current and future generations of FireTV products.
Key job responsibilities
This role will be working on Fire TV in the Alexa/Voice domain focusing on building new software solutions for our customers and partner teams.
You will need to be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fun, fast-paced, self-organized and dynamic team environment that experiments with new technologies, architectural concepts, development languages (C++, Java, Rust). We love solving difficult problems with elegant, simple, and maintainable solutions. You ideally also have a combination of solid in-depth knowledge of working in an embedded device software environment, good understanding of the operating system software, and knowledge of object oriented design principles
