As a Database Solutions Architect you will design complete solution architectures based on AWS database services. Have you developed complex applications?
Are you an experienced Oracle/SQL Server/NoSQL Platform Specialist? Have you worked on Open source Database platforms like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Casandra, or NoSQL? Have you migrated Applications from one Database Engine to another?

The specialist will collaborate with our customers and partners on key engagements. You will develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops, and support implementation projects in order to develop or migrate Applications from on-premise databases like Oracle/SQL*Server to AWS eg. AWS RDS, Aurora-PostgreSQL/MySQL or other Open Source platforms.
You will focus on customer solutions such as high volume OLTP/OLAP environments, designing and deploying future state petabyte-scale data services and building and/or designing reference configurations to enable our customers and influence AWS RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB and other NoSQL databases adoption.
Key job responsibilities
- Provide automotive and manufacturing customers with deep technical expertise to advance AWS adoption across their operations, from factory floor to enterprise systems
- Partner with OEMs, suppliers, and manufacturing leaders to solve complex challenges in areas such as connected vehicles, smart manufacturing initiatives
- Collaborate with AWS specialist, sales, marketing, and product teams to develop innovative solutions for automotive and manufacturing customers' most challenging business problems
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to automotive and manufacturing executives, helping them navigate cloud transformation and digital innovation
- Lead architectural reviews and workshops focused on manufacturing-specific use cases, including predictive maintenance, quality control systems, and supply chain optimization
- Champion industry best practices through AWS blogs, whitepapers, and reference architectures specific to automotive and manufacturing solutions. Present at key industry events including AWS re:Invent, AWS Summit, and major manufacturing conferences
- Educate customers on AWS's value proposition for manufacturing workloads, ensuring solutions are optimized for production environments
- Provide feedback to AWS product teams on industry-specific requirements and act as primary point of contact for urgent customer issues in your technical specialty.
- Stay current with emerging trends in automotive technology and smart manufacturing to help customers innovate and maintain competitive advantage
