Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security is looking for a passionate, innovative, and motivated Security Engineer for the AWS Security Vulnerability Management team. At Amazon Web Services (AWS), Security is job zero. Our team is responsible for inventing new security services on remediation of third party software vulnerabilities at AWS’ unprecedented scale. We are data-driven, set big goals and are always challenging ourselves and each other to identify better solutions and take on new challenges.
In this role, you will be part of a team of security engineers and technical program managers solving complex security challenges to third party software vulnerability remediation that have direct and measurable impact on our customers. Our programs stretch across all of AWS, giving you the opportunity to interact with product teams, industry specialists, security partners, and organization leaders. You will build and own software solutions and solve ambiguous technical problems.
As a Security Engineer in AWS Vulnerability Management, you will:
- Work with a team of security engineers and technical program managers that design, build, and own software solutions to enable AWS service teams to remediate third party software vulnerabilities at scale
- Work closely with AWS Security leaders and others to align team products and solution strategy with our customers’ needs. Proactively seek the voice of the customer in all you do.
- Influence the team’s product roadmap by thinking big, experimenting and innovating - without sacrificing delivery or operational excellence.
