This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security related requirements. The position further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
Position may require travel up to 5% domestically.
Key job responsibilities
- Participating in design reviews to identify and mitigate operational risk. You work closely with Software Development and Site-Reliability teams to improve the change management life-cycle.
- Drive teams to improve operational efficiency for all services through root-cause and trend analysis through development of SLA, metrics, monitors, procedures, tools, and documentation.
- Draft strategies that adapt and scale the business for an exponentially-growing customer-base.
- Play a significant role in hiring, developing, and promoting of engineers of varying technical levels and backgrounds.
A day in the life

This included working with Engineers, TPMs, and other Managers to create technical solutions to complex issues created by deploying software into a network isolated cloud environment.
