Chattanooga LNG Plant Manager
Responsibilities:
Manages and supervises all operations and activities at the Chattanooga Liquid Natural Gas (“LNG”) Plant (which is a 24/7/365 critical operation) in accordance with Company objectives and policies to provide safe and reliable service while economizing necessary expenditures.
Functional Expertise:
•Must possess the in-depth knowledge of operational, maintenance and regulatory policies and procedures needed to successfully manage the Chattanooga LNG plant.
•Must be able to implement operational changes to continue the future adherence to any regulatory standard.
•Must have a thorough knowledge of the plant’s control system and how it relates to the equipment.
•Must possess an excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude and a thorough knowledge of plant’s mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and capabilities.
•Must possess the ability and knowledge to successfully carryout all the Critical Success Factors required of an LNG Operator and LNG Technician.
•Must have a good understanding of the operational processes associated with the other LNG plants.
•Must possess the technical skills required to understand, develop, and recommend corrective measures to the different LNG plant processes and equipment ensuring plant obligations are continually met during Standby, Liquefaction, Vaporization and/or Loading modes.
•Must possess excellent knowledge on the fundamentals of gas theory and the relationship of gas flow and pressure and how it relates to the operational and mechanical aspects of the plants.
•Must possess the skills required to analyze, recommend, and initiate corrective measures when equipment or system malfunctions occur.
•Must understand and be able to utilize a wide area network to communicate between the plants.
•Must understand and be able to monitor and if the situation arises, operate the process control system located at each LNG plant.

•Must be creative and innovative in problem resolution and in designing or modifying goals, policies and procedures set for the plant ensuring the needs of the Company, its employees and ultimately the customers are achieved.
•Must possess the ability to operate within budgetary constraints.
•Must possess the ability to plan, organize and monitor construction, operations and maintenance activities at the Chattanooga LNG Plant and ensure such activities are completed within a time frame not detrimental to the successful operation of the plant processes.
•Must have a good understanding of the operational and maintenance activities required at an LNG facility ensuring timely completion of projects.
•Must be a highly motivated, analytical individual capable of anticipating problems, developing solutions, and recommending innovative ideas and procedures.
•Must have ability to apply knowledge on a technical and conceptual level in order to achieve plant operational goals and objectives.
•Must possess the ability to remain calm in stressful and/or emergency situations in order to make logical and accurate decisions to maintain plant integrity and employee safety.

•Must communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with all levels of employees in a professional and courteous manner, with tact and diplomacy, resulting in the effective transfer of information.
•Must possess the ability to hire, develop, motivate, and lead plant employees at the Chattanooga LNG Plant to ensure the plant functions properly to produce Company objectives.
•Must have a proven track record of building rapport among peers, superiors, and subordinates while leading by example.
•Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills to gain cooperation and develop teamwork – this includes strong written and oral communication skills.
•Must have strong work ethic.
•Must possess excellent knowledge of Company operating policies, procedures, and practices.
Driving Results:
•Driving results through performance management of Chattanooga LNG Plant staff including setting expectations against established safety, quality, and productivity metrics, providing feedback and managing performance gaps.
•Drives operational efficiencies, productivity enhancements and efficient utilization of resources to provide cost effective operation of the Chattanooga LNG Plant.
•Ensures process and system changes are implemented as necessary to meet operational requirements and/or comply with regulations (existing or new).

•Bachelors or Technical degree in associated field
Related Work Experience:
Preferred:
•2+ years equivalent of technical training in industrial machinery operation
•2+ years equivalent of technical training in computer applications
•7-10 years of progressive LNG facility work experience.
•Prior LNG plant experience in operations normally acquired through at least five years as an LNG operator and/or technician.
•3+ years of successfully managing a diverse team of people
Required:
•Must have the knowledge of plant operational procedures along with the ability to utilize plant manuals and schematics in troubleshooting and optimizing the operational processes.
•Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment is required along with the ability to utilize equipment manuals and schematics in troubleshooting the plants processes and related equipment.
•Must possess the knowledge of and ability to operate computers and their related programs.
