This person is able to demonstrate a history of earning the trust of internal and external stakeholders, direct ownership of the programs they’ve run, and a proven track record for generating high-impact security press coverage.
Key job responsibilities
As an AWS Security PR Manager, you will partner closely with product teams and executives to create story opportunities with our customers. You will provide strategic counsel to senior business leaders on a daily basis and dive deep into the latest AWS security technologies to understand their potential for helping customers innovate faster, then execute creative programs that educate and inspire customers.

A day in the life
The AWS PR Manager will:

• Draft compelling external messaging
• Dive deep into new technologies
• Develop and strengthen relationships with customers, journalists, and other external stakeholders
• Create media strategies for high-profile events
• Regularly interact with senior leaders
• Manage complex topics with high-judgment and professionalism
• Work cross-functionally to plan and execute global PR campaigns
