Position Summary:
The Program Manager reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Program Manager will lead planning and implementation activities for Northwestern Memorial HealthCare. This will include developing work plans and metrics, the monitoring of work plans and metrics to assure activities are on-time and on-budget, coordinating the internal and external resources to execute activities, and completing activities as assigned. The Program Manager will work closely with managers, directors and clinicians to develop work plans, metrics and resources to achieve the department’s strategic goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manages PMIS system within Planning and Construction including role as System Administrator, System Trainer and SME.
- Communicates (Verbally & Written) with a wide range of stakeholders including Project Managers, Architects, Engineers and General Contractors as well as with internal NM departments including Purchasing, Accounting and Finance. Serves as a liaison on behalf of the department leadership to foster strong working relationships.
- In Collaboration with the CPO, manages and reports out on other system applications including diverse spend, vendor pre-qualifications, project close-outs and others as assigned.
- Develops and maintains reporting interfaces, dashboards and progress reports to share with internal & external stakeholders
- Supports and Collaborates with the CPO on planning and implementation of quarterly Planning & Construction conferences and Vendor Conferences.
- Pro-actively recommend and implement improvements to workflow processes that streamline end-to-end project lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Construction Industry or Construction Accounting is a plus
- Creates and maintains departmental SharePoint and/or MS Teams Sites to facilitate document sharing and collaboration.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Communications or related field.
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills, excellent oral and communication skills, demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in MBA or MHA preferred (required in place of work experience).
- Construction Managment Experience
