We are seeking a skilled attorney to support Amazon’s innovative and fast-growing North America Customer Fulfillment operations. You will be an integral member of the business teams you support, serving as counsel on a broad range of matters. As the primary legal counsel for U.S. customer fulfillment operations, you will:
(1) Advise on the structure and launch of products and initiatives to serve Amazon customers, including identifying legal, regulatory, and compliance risks and proposing mitigation strategies;
(2) Support all aspects of customer fulfillment operations, including the development and implementation of internal compliance functions; and
(3) Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including service agreements with vendors and strategic partners.
In all of these areas, you will develop strategies to address legal and regulatory challenges in creative, business-oriented ways, while building processes that manage risk and enable the business to move quickly and flexibly.
You will advise directly on U.S. legal matters and coordinate with overseas lawyers (both in-house and external counsel) to support international programs. Some domestic and international travel may be required.
