Come build the future with us! Amazon Ads is seeking a Principal, Product Marketing Strategy & Ops leader to lead strategic initiatives that shape how we bring our advertising solutions to market. In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with product, marketing, sales, and training orgs to identify top areas of opportunity to optimize our go-to-market process. You’ll develop new strategies, frameworks, business requirements, and SOPs that drive consistency across the ads organization and support large-scale change management initiatives that ensure employee adoption and clarity across the Ads organization. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the GTM process for advertising products and solutions and have delivered large-scale strategic and operational initiatives with demonstrable impact.
Key job responsibilities
- Oversees large-scale strategic workstreams across Amazon Ads, uniting product, sales, product marketing, and training efforts in service of maximizing customer comprehension and product adoption.
- Develops a consistent strategy to managing product lifecycle post-launch (expansion, deprecation, and ongoing support between feature launches)
- Identifies top areas of opportunity to simplify GTM efforts, diagnosing root causes, outlining and aligning with key stakeholders on a path to resolution, and creating and implementing inspection mechanisms.
- Continually refines and drives adoption of GTM templates and approaches and partner with cross functional leaders to use your frameworks to present GTM plans for top solutions to Ads leaders.
- Partners with internal transformation teams to drive org-wide change management initiatives
- Helps define how Amazon Ads aligns GTM processes with KPIs to drive measurable customer impact
- Defines KPIs and establish mechanisms to inspect results; continually refine GTM practices across distinct product, sales, and marketing organizations, providing regular leadership progress updates.
