Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, the Analyst IV Data Governance and Compliance will oversee the development and implementation of effective data governance, data quality, and data compliance strategies within the reporting function of Distribution and Transportation (D&T) organization. This individual will be the primary point of contact with cross-functional teams including IT, RBS Data Governance, Supply Chain Analytics, and Internal Audit to ensure D&T data and reporting is accurate, accessible, and compliant with ADUSA guidelines and industry best practices. This individual will also be the subject matter expert for D&T on data analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI App, Automation Anywhere (RPA), and will assist D&T teams in data sourcing and modeling, validating data integrity, accessibility, quality, version control, user acceptance testing, and source documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Quality and Accessibility:
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive data quality framework that includes standards, guidelines, and best practices for data validation, documentation, and reporting.
- Perform regular audits and assessments of data quality, identify discrepancies, errors, and data integrity issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate the root causes of data quality problems.
Data Source Documentation, Standardization and Compliance:
- Define and enforce data quality policies, procedures, and practices. Create and maintain documentation related to data dictionaries and data lineage.
- Work closely with data owners and data stewards to remediate data quality issues.
- Design and execute an effective user acceptance testing program for all new sources and tables.
- Lead role and primary point of contact for all D&T data audits

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5-7 years relevant experience
- Experience with Microsoft Reporting tools and other Data Visualization and BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Alteryx)
- Auditing experience preferred
