Project Planning & Management:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to plan, budget or timeline.
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Perform FEA modeling, prototype production and testing.
- Establish go/no go decision points.
- Equipment selection and procurement.
- Oversee equipment installation and testing.
- Establish vendor relationships with procurement team.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to drive project success.
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders
Technical Expertise:
- Possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Be proficient in using relevant software and tools, such as CAD/CAM, ERP, and MES systems.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in manufacturing technology
Problem Solving:
- Identify and analyze problems in manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Develop and implement solutions to address these problems.
- Document and communicate solutions to stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned by Manager
Provide guidance and training to junior employees in understanding projects and data
Minimum Education Required:
- Extensive project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
- Microsoft Office Suite
- CAD/CAM
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling software
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience: Minimum 10 years in manufacturing engineering and 3-4 years project management.
Travel: Some travel required, position is in manufacturing plant.
