We are hiring a Business Intelligence Engineer, Community Engagement. This role will develop and manage data and analytics tools related to community giving, work closely with stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their needs, and guide them to the best possible analytical and technological solutions.
This role will support the data management and analysis of Amazon’s hyperlocal, charitable investment portfolio. The role will streamline new and existing data sources to measure Amazon’s impact in local communities and produce meaningful and easily digestible insights for senior leaders. The role will establish mechanisms, including a giving knowledge bank, and report library, as well as build dashboards for stakeholders to search for simple or repeat requests.
The right candidate will have demonstrated experience delivering business intelligence and analytics solutions for non-technical end users, working directly with stakeholders to gather business requirements, and translating those requirements into insightful and effective reports. They will also be a strategic thinker who understands the trade-offs between different analytical and technological solutions and can effectively communicate those trade-offs to technical or non-technical decision makers. The right candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity or imperfect data and can still innovate and think big, while diving deep to raise the bar for quality and accuracy.
