The AWS Infra Energy team is looking for a world-class candidate to lead cross functional teams to drive regional power solutions from inception through design, construction, deployment and commissioning.
The ideal candidate will have experience in driving utility scale power generation, transmissions facilities. They will be an exceptionally strong communicator, both written and verbally, and possess years of experience in tactical project management of highly technical initiatives, as well as strategic program management. Experience in managing data center infrastructure deployments is a plus.
Candidate must be comfortable managing remote project delivery teams and collaborate across a global team across Energy, Engineering, Legal, Public Policy, Safety, Security, and Public relations (PR) teams to troubleshoot project issues, remove barriers to project success and establish new repeatable playbooks.
The TPM must be a passionate, innovative self-starter that will be able to drive both technical and non-technical teams and possess strong acumen to work collaboratively with external stakeholders on high-visibility projects.
The TIPM will be fully competent in a variety of project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle and exhibit demonstrated proficiency in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking. Other requirements include proficiency with MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint. Experience with Tableau, KanBan, Playbook, SQL and systems integration a plus.

• Own development of the architecture, playbook of a successful power infrastructure delivery program.
• Apply high judgment to drive priorities for various stakeholders
• Deliver project level risks/mitigation strategy by running interference with all regional teams.
• Build and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive the program
• Manage projects against plans and objectives to ensure commitments are met, delivering against program goals
