We're looking for an exceptional Senior QA Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in developing Alexa Customer Journeys. In this position, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing state-of-the-art testing solutions for various programs within the Alexa Customer Journeys ecosystem.
Your role will involve close collaboration with a diverse, cross-functional team including Quality Assurance Engineers, Senior Software Development Engineers in Test, Software Developers, Product Managers, and Software Development Managers. A day in the life
• Drive organizational-level quality improvements through innovative automation solutions and establish comprehensive quality metrics across Alexa teams, ensuring continuous enhancement of product quality
• Design and develop scalable, state-of-the-art test automation frameworks and reusable components for Alexa devices software testing, optimizing efficiency and coverage
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with development teams, hardware engineers, and product managers to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and seamless integration of quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle
• Establish and evolve testing standards, best practices, and processes while mentoring QA engineers across teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks while evaluating, integrating, and championing new testing tools and technologies to keep Alexa at the forefront of QA innovation
• Analyze test results using advanced data analytics techniques, provide actionable insights, and create detailed reports on quality metrics for stakeholders to drive informed decision-making
