Full Time Nights, 7pm-7:30am, with rotating weekends.
Sign Bonus
0-2 years' experience $3,000
2 plus years of experience $7500
Internal and external New Grads are eligible to receive the sign-on bonus, this does not include internal experienced RN to RN transfers
CDH Cardiac Intermediate (3A)
- 26 bed cardiac step-down unit that is part of Northwestern Medicine’s prestigious Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute (BCVI)
- As part of BCVI, we are able provide the same advanced cardiac care normally only available at a major academic medical center, but in a suburban setting
- Our unit cares for patients with a variety of cardiovascular diagnoses, including post cardiac surgeries and procedures
- We are proud to be in the country’s top decile of patient satisfaction for over 8 years
- Cross training opportunities to the Telemetry Department

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Strong analytic abilities
*Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN from an accredited program within three years of first day of employment in clinical nurse role.
Preferred:
- Experience in specific clinical area
- Additional Preferences for the Emergency Room and the Pediatric Emergency Room
- Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS)
- Emergency Communications Registered Nurse
- Certified Pediatric Nurse
- Certified Emergency Nurse
