Early Intervention Educator (PRN) with knowledge of birth-5 child development to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary, Early Intervention team in the Richmond, Virginia area.

What You’ll Do
As an
Early Intervention Educator, you will provide support and services to children from birth to age three with developmental delays and disabilities. In addition to providing direct education services, the Early Intervention Educator participates in ongoing assessments of needs and skills in all areas of development and serves as a resource for parents and childcare providers.
Candidates must be willing to commute to the Richmond area to see families.

averaging 10 hours per week.
What We’re Looking For
To join our team as an
Early Intervention Educator you must have a passion to help others, excellent communication skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and a valid driver’s license with current auto insurance and a good driving record.
We Also Require The Following
- Licensure with endorsement in one of the following by the VA Board of Education:
- Special Education (birth to 5); Early/Primary Education (PreK-3) or (NK-4) or Elementary Education (PreK-6); Adapted Curriculum (K-12) or General Curriculum (K-12); Career and Technical Education- Family and Consumer Sciences; or Certification as a Music Therapist- Board Certified (MT-BC)
- Knowledge of child development and recommended practices in service provision for children with or at risk for developmental or behavioral/emotional disabilities.
- Experience working with young children (birth-5). Experience working with children in their natural environments (home, daycare) is preferred.
