Selling Partner Trust and Store Integrity (TSI) is responsible for creating a trustworthy shopping experience across Amazon stores worldwide by protecting customers, brands, selling partners, vendors and Amazon from fraud, counterfeit, and abuse as well as providing world‐class support and building loyalty with Amazon’s millions of selling partners.
The Financial Fraud team protects Customers, Selling Partners and Amazon financials from bad actors and dis-incentivize abusive seller behavior to ensure we offer a trustworthy experience. We are looking for a highly motivated Risk Manager to solve exciting business problems in large scale. This role will perform comprehensive investigations to identify business problems and the root cause, use data to locate emerging patterns of risk, and drive the implementation of large scale solutions. This role will work directly with product and program managers, machine learning scientists, subject matter experts across risk domains, as well as regional stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Conduct deep dive investigations to derive business problems and define use cases in an ambiguous environment
- Use data to make high judgement decisions and take direct actions to stop bad actors on worldwide stores as early as possible
- Share risk insights with partner teams to constantly improve detection mechanisms
- Manage risk mitigation projects designed to improve operational and process efficiency
- Identify gaps and risks in current mechanisms and policies and recommend solutions to product/policy owning teams
- Effectively prioritize opportunities and communicate with stakeholders/dependency teams to influence roadmaps
About the team
The Financial Fraud team works to mitigate negative impact to Amazon’s Customers and Amazon’s financials. We detect and enforce bad actor sellers who do not intend to conduct legitimate business in our stores. We solve problems in large scale and through automated solutions.
